Kids Choice Awards 2008

I would be remiss if I didn't inform you that I watched the KCAs long before I had the kid. It is just a lot celebrities acting like fools. What is not to enjoy?
It has become an annual event in our home with lots of snacks purchased and fewer eaten. The MP stays up to the late, late hour of 9:30 and we all have a great time.
This year he decided he wanted to take pictures of show as it was going on. Perhaps this will lead to some kind of work in cinematography or video pirating. It could go either way.

Even Jessica Alba knows he is funny.
That is red velvet cupcake batter on his face - not lipstick.

Aww.. he is happy the Jonas Brothers won.

Indiana Jones!!! We love him. There was a snake involved. The MP was not impressed with that.

He *hearts* iCarly

Ellie had too many snacks and is down for the count. Wuss

The Grand Slime finale - Jack Black and Orlando Bloom (Will Turner) take it on the chin. Anyone willing to have green goo dumped on their head on national television is alright in my book.

Off Topic

I know this blog is about the MP but I thought those of you who check in might enjoy some amazing pictures from Scott's recent trip to Rome. He was there for the marathon and ran a 4K "fun" run himself. He brought the MP back this super cool book that shows you what things looked like orginially and then you flip the picture and see what they look like today. The MP LOVES it. And we are glad he is back - briefly though it may be as he is off to Paris next week. Ahh, Europe in Spring Time for business. What a life!!
Ciao!!

5 years, 5 months, 29 days

How old the MP was when he lost his first tooth.
He was fourth months old when the first tooth showed up in his mouth so he continues to be ahead of the average tooth curve.
I will take pictures and post when Scott brings the camera home from Rome.

His teacher at daycare was kind enough to extract the tooth for him. I was going nuts with a mild OCD outbreak wanting to wiggle it all the time but he was not interested in it coming out. He somehow decided once the tooth came out he was a big boy and college was right around the corner ("Mummy, I don't want the tooth to come out, I lose the tooth, I drive a car, and then I go to college."). Wishing your life (and mine) away much???

In case you were wondering: The going rate from the tooth-fairy is $1 these days and according to the MP she carries the tooth home between her wings.
