Giving Thanks 2009

Every year I manage one post consistently: to relate what I am thankful for regarding the Mud Puddle. So without further ado…

His laugh
His gymnastics skills
That he still lets me read to him
His sense of humor (even the ‘potty’ jokes)
Cuddles
His crazy hair
His swimming skills
That he puts himself to bed
His ‘projects’ (usually involving a cardboard box and an entire roll of tape)
That he wants to be a vet
The way he writes
Elly (even though he is a ‘secret’ now)
His imagination
Running a race or around the block with him
That he asks me how my day was and even if it was crappy he instantly makes it better
The random train of thought that he verbalizes regularly
“I LOVE YOU GUYS”
18 point secret handshake
His lone front tooth
The way he sings when puttering around the house
His mad cooking skills
That I love him more today than I did yesterday and continue to be thankful he is my son
