Giving Thanks 2010

The annual list of things that make me Thankful I am the Mom of the Mud Puddle and not some other kid:
• His laugh
• His braces and newly discovered dental hygiene
• Cuddles of all kinds but the best are the ones we share while watching Brit reality shows on Youtube
• His reading
• His report cards (“All As and A-s” as he would say)
• His recently found affection for Cooper
• The way he absent mindedly sings as he goes about his day
(everything from Rush to Cheryl Cole)
• The way he asks me how my day was
• His cooking ability
• The way he cleans up without being told
• The way he doesn’t clean up after being told 10 times
• Ellie
• His crazy hair
• His smirky smile
• Our mutual love of recorders
• The way he runs with a spring in his step and a smile on his face
• That he pats my head and rubs my back
• That he is sweet
• That every year he makes me more thankful that I am his and he is mine
